Belleville, IL. (01/25/2020) Continuing as a leading auto-racing sanctioning body since 1946, the POWRi Lucas Oil New Mexico Motor Racing Association, based in Albuquerque New Mexico, will see a solid showing of twenty-three events for the upcoming 2021 racing season. Offering a full season of excitement for NMMRA drivers in their championship quest, competitors will venture to three separate Land of Enchantment racing surfaces throughout the year extending from mid-March until late-November.
The fast and always exciting three-eighths-mile dirt oval in Albuquerque NM, Sandia Speedway, will continue to serve as the home venue for the POWRi Lucas Oil New Mexico Motor Racing Association. Hosting a series leading fourteen race dates throughout the summer months, beginning with a trio of practice dates on March 20th, March 28th, and April 4th.
The POWRi NMMRA season of speed will also see a two-night spectacular presented by Aztec Speedway on the weekend of July 30-31. Aztec New Mexico’s high-banked three-eighths-mile dirt-track will try to contain all the horsepower these traditional sprinters have to offer in this highly anticipated event.
State-of-the-art Vado Speedway Park, in Vado New Mexico, will also host six competitive racing dates this upcoming year including the Season Send-off on April 3rd. With a blend of dates throughout the summer, the POWRi Lucas Oil New Mexico Motor Racing Association season will conclude on November 26-27 at Vado Speedway Park’s outstanding two-day Turkey Bowl event.
