Battle at the Center Sat, December 20th
The POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series returns to DuQuoin, Illinois on Saturday, December 20th for the 5th Annual Great Clips Battle at the Center presented by K&N Filters. The one-day race will feature a 40-lap main event on the one-sixth Mini Magic Mile in the DuQuoin Southern Illinois Center. Full Story
Spencer Bayston and Austin Stewart Earn Rookie of the Year Honors
Millstadt, IL. – Spencer Bayston of Lebanon, Indiana driving the Bryan Clauson Racing, Inc. Esslinger-powered Spike Chassis earned the prestigious 2014 POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series Rookie of the Year. Austin Stewart of Jacksonville, Illinois earned the 2014 POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series Rookie of the Year title, piloting the family-owned Suzuki-powered PMP Chassis.

Benson Clinches Micro Championship, Clauson Wins Season Ending Thriller
Jacksonville, IL. – Bryan Clauson of Noblesville, Indiana earned a hard fought POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series victory at the semi-banked, ¼ mile Jacksonville Speedway for the season finale and Aaron Andruskevitch of Riverton, Illinois won the POWRi Speedway Motors Outlaw Micro Series feature. By coming in second in the season finale to Andruskevitch, Nathan Benson clinched the 2014 POWRi Speedway Motors Outlaw Micro Series championship.

Bell Outlasts Lincoln Speedway
Lincoln, IL. – Christopher Bell of Norman, Oklahoma led all thirty laps of the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series feature in route to claim his 11th victory of the 2014 season at the semi-banked ¼ mile Lincoln Speedway.

POWRi Season Championship
MILLSTADT, IL (September 24, 2014) – After six intense months of action packed events, the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series and the POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series will take part in one final weekend of racing for the 2014 season. The midgets will visit Lincoln Speedway on Friday, October 10th followed by the finale event at Jacksonville Speedway, where the micros will also end their season, on Saturday, October 11th.

Southern Illinois Raceway to Host POWRi Micros as Points Race Heats Up and 2014 Season Winds Down
MILLSTADT, IL (September 24, 2014) – The POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series is scheduled to run at Southern Illinois Raceway on Saturday, October 4th. The POWRi micros have visited the Marion, IL track one other time this year. Joe B. Miller took home the feature win at that event back in July. Port City Raceway Saturday 9/27
The stars of the Lucas Oil POWRi West Midget Series approach the same high banked, tight 1/8th mile oval where their campaign began this season, Tulsa, Oklahoma's illustrious Port City Raceway. The "Turnpike Challenge" served up the first two shows of the season back in March, with Christopher Bell sweeping for his native state. Exactly a dozen shows later, they ride back in to the bullring, this time shedding co-sanction with their National brethren and championing the first POWRi West solo at Port City.

I-44 Riverside Speedway Serves September Showdowns
The Lucas Oil POWRi West Midgets will race on Saturday, September 20th for a guaranteed $1,000 to win and $100 to start purse. Over 20 midgets were confirmed to be traveling to Riverside Saturday and POWRi West promoter Eric Fenton noted that the weekend of the 20th are bye weeks for most regional open wheel series.

POWRi Micros Rescheduled, Midgets and Micros to Both End the 2014 Season at Jacksonville Speedway
MILLSTADT, IL (September 16, 2014) – After getting rained out at the Jacksonville, IL track on September 12th, the POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micros will now run in conjunction with the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midgets at the Jacksonville Speedway on October 11th. The Saturday night race will be the 2014 season finale for both series.
