Freedom Fest Friday & Saturday July 3rd & 4th
Millstadt, IL – The POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series and Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series are set to make their fourth and fifth appearance at the “Mighty” Macon Speedway in Macon, Illinois on July 3rd and July 4th for the Macon Speedway Freedom Fest. The last POWRi appearance at Macon Speedway was on June 6th for the third night of Illinois SPEED Week, with Christopher Bell and Matt Howard taking division wins. Full Story
The 34th Annual Pepsi Nationals
Millstadt, IL – Angell Park Speedway is set to host the 34th annual Pepsi Nationals on July 5th with the event co-sanctioned by POWRi and USAC. The Pepsi Nationals will be the third night of racing for the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series, as they will head north to “The Prairie” after two nights of racing at Macon Speedway in Macon, Illinois on July 3rd and 4th. Joined at the historic 1/3rd mile by the USAC Nationals Midgets, an excellent night of tough competition is highly anticipated. After a thrilling night of racing, everyone in attendance will be treated to a fireworks show after the evening has been completed. Previous winners at Angell Park Speedway in 2015 include Kevin Thomas, Jr. and Mother Nature, each taking victories at the Thiel Memorial on May 23rd and 24th, respectively.

Felker Freaky Fast At Boyd Raceway
Tulsa, OK June27, 2015- 55 days after the last race was ran the Lucas Oil POWRi West Midget series presented by Total Comm and Boss Chassis was on track at Boyd Raceway for night one of the Texas Swing. After roughly an hour rain delay track officials worked the Bull Ring surface making for an excellent action packed 3 heat races which saw John Ricketts, Travis Scott and Andrew Felker picking up victories respectively.

Bell & Hagen Tie, Miller Snags Illinois SPEED Week Title
Millstadt, IL – After four straight days of racing on four different tracks, Christopher Bell and Darren Hagen tied for the POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series 2015 Illinois SPEED Week title, each with 990 points. In the POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series, Joe B. Miller came out on top with 1150 points, earning the 2015 Illinois SPEED Week title for the micro division.

Millstadt, IL – The rained out portion of the POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series event on June 13th at Southern Illinois Raceway in Marion, Illinois will not be rescheduled or completed. Instead, POWRi officials will take the total purse amount and divide it equally amongst the drivers. Regarding the championship points, points will be awarded according to the POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series rules.

Micros head to SIR, Belle-Clair in Action Packed Weekend
Millstadt, IL - The POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series will head to Southern Illinois Raceway on Saturday, June 13th and Belle-Clair Speedway on Sunday, June 14th. Saturday is the solo appearance for POWRi at the flying’-fast high-banked 1/8th mile Southern Illinois Raceway. Southern Illinois Raceway previously hosted the 2011 and 2012 Mike Phillips Memorial races, dubbed “The 66,” notably boosting Christopher Bell, the 2011 event winner into the spot light. Previous winners include Chris Andrews, Dereck King and Joe B. Miller, fresh off his 2015 Illinois SPEED Week championship.

Thomas and Miller Steal the Final Night of Illinois SPEED Week
Jacksonville, IL. – Tyler Thomas of Owasso, Oklahoma streaked to his first POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series victory of the 2015 season for the thrilling fourth and final night of Illinois SPEED Week presented by Toyota at Belle-Clair Speedway in Belleville, Illinois. Joe B. Miller of Millersville, Missouri earned his first POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series victory in 2015, holding off several challenges and cautions.

Midget and Micro Schedule Changes
Millstadt, IL – The POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series Cornhusker Nationals at Wayne County Speedway in Wayne City, Illinois scheduled for Friday, June 12th has been postponed. Track owner Doug Stringer has stated that renovations and expansion projects at the facility have not yet been completed. Rather than open the facility at anything less than perfect, Stringer has chosen to postpone the event. The Cornhusker Nationals will be rescheduled for Sunday, October 11th.

Macon, IL. – Christopher Bell of Norman, Oklahoma took his fourth POWRi Lucas Oil National Midget Series victory of the 2015 season and the 19th of his career, doubling down for the third night of Illinois SPEED Week presented by Toyota at Macon Speedway in Macon, Illinois. Matt Howard of Lawrence, Kansas earned his first career POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro Series victory, becoming the fifth different winner throughout the 2015 season.

POWRi Lucas Oil Midwest Division II Midget Series
Millstadt, IL. – POWRi Racing will be the official sanctioning body for the Midwest Division II Midget Series based out of Bloomington, Indiana. The POWRi Lucas Oil Midwest Division II Midget Series has been created to help promote affordable midget racing throughout the Midwestern region of the United States. This sportsman type of midget class allows drivers and teams the opportunity to compete prior to tackling the national level.

Mosen Recreates Winning History
Brad Mosen – Team BSL, is the second person in the history of the sport here in New Zealand to win all three SNZ Titles in the same year. The only other driver to have done this previously is Graham Standring in 1987.
