Belleville, IL. (5/16/22) Celebrating the first weekend of racing with all ten POWRi Super Stock facilities running, intense action across every track would find great car counts throughout the Midwest.
Adding to their all-time win count battle, with a league-leading thirteen each, current leaders Donnie Miller and Tony Anglin would both find victory lane over the weekend. Defending National Champion Aaron Poe would once again claim checkers as front-runners Derek Henson, Tim Brown, Bob Barnett, Mathew Seaman, Ted Welschmeyer, Chris Kircher, and Jeremey Creasey all earned feature wins as well.
Heating up in closeness, the POWRi Super Stock Division National Points picture continues to gain top drivers crowding around the top spot with a few familiar faces of last season's rising through the ranks. Michael Muskrat remains atop the standings with Ted Welschmeyer now jumping Justin Jarrett in the standings as Donnie Miller and Dale Berry follow closely behind to round out the top five competitors currently in the chase for the championship.
