POWRi Midget iRacing League to Tackle the Virtual Chili Bowl Track

POWRi Midget iRacing League to Tackle the Virtual Chili Bowl Track

Belleville, IL. (04/17/2020) As the season progresses for the POWRi Lucas Oil Midget iRacing League, fans and competitors both have been treated to outstanding side-by-side racing and epic multi-grooved driving surfaces. Next on the docket for this open-registration league, with a full field of over sixty drivers anticipated, will be the hallowed midget racing grounds inside the Tulsa Expo Square known simply as the Chili Bowl.

Eager drivers, either wanting to fulfill lifelong dreams of taking the one-of-a-kind track or individuals hoping to hone some skills before the yearly spectacle, will all collide in this highly anticipated mid-season show with both physical world drivers and simulated world wheelman duking it out for digital POWRi Midget League Chili Bowl supremacy.

Continuing on Tuesday, April 21st at 7 pm the weekly iRacing events, organized by the POWRi Lucas Oil West Midget League, will feature both simulated and physical competitors vying for the cybernetic top spot. Entering the virtual realm of the Chili Bowl, drivers will take on the quarter-mile semi-banked digital dirt oval built yearly inside the Tulsa Expo Square.

Fresh off two straight feature victories, #20 Brennan Rogers now resides atop the POWRi iRacing League season standings by the slimmest of margins over the top five. Previous point’s leader #42 Emerson Axsom hopes to rebound from last week’s racing woes, after slipping a position in the standings Axsom is still within striking distance only four points back of Rogers. Proving consistency puts drivers into championship positions #09 Diason Pursley has racked up back-to-back second-place showings, catapulting Purlsey to only six points back from first place and currently third on the six-week eSports season. Week one winner of #37 Aiden Purdue goes into the fourth race of the POWRi Midget iRacing League still very in the chase for the championship as Purdue is tied for third only six points behind Rogers. Rounding out the top five with a pair of Top-10’s to his credit and only eight points back of the League leader finds proverbial frontrunner #4 Robert Dalby.

Tuesday’s POWRi Midget iRacing League will continue as an open registration at this time. Rooms open at 7:00 pm CST. Drivers must be there ready to enter at that time to gain entry with only 64 spots available for competitors. Any current POWRi League drivers planning on participating who have not registered should message POWRi West Midget League on Facebook via Eric Fenton.
