RAMS RACING TO-THE-TAIL BONUS ADDED TO ULTIMATE CHALLENGE

RAMS RACING TO-THE-TAIL BONUS ADDED TO ULTIMATE CHALLENGE

OSKALOOSA, IOWA. (July 30, 2019) – Much like Monday’s “Front Row Challenge” at Oskaloosa, the Tuesday portion of the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint League “Ultimate Challenge” program will feature a to-the-tail bonus, sure to add another layer of excitement to the night. Sponsored by RAMS Racing, the front row feature starters will be offered a chance to go tailback and race their way forward battling for an extra $100 for every position they advance.

Already a $3,000 to win, $300 to start affair, one lucky driver could skyrocket his winnings to more than $5,000 by accepting the challenge and winning it from the rear. Taking the top six in passing points from heat race action to the LRB, Inc. dash, those six combatants will duke it out for a quick four-laps to set the front three rows of the feature.

The winner of the dash will be given first choice to take the challenge, but if he denies the outside pole sitter will have his own decision to make. If neither competitor is up for the task, however, the challenge ends right there on the front row. With 25 laps of green flag action around the daunting Southern Iowa Speedway half-mile, any driver who is bold enough to risk it all and hunt the extra money and fame would certainly have enough time to march forward.

Adding to the pageantry of this one-of-a-kind event, Capitol Renegade Custom Trailers and Coaches has stepped up to present a $250 hard charger award for the driver who passes the most cars in Tuesday’s feature. Loaded with all sorts of goodies and giveaways, Terry McCarl and his phenomenal promoting staff will be presenting Hoosier Tires to each heat winner and much more.

Along with the special payout and special format, comes the addition of a special rule for Tuesday’s “Ultimate Challenge” event. Adopting the 94” inch left rear tire rule at the beginning of this year, that rule will be opened up to allow any and all Hoosier left rear tire sizes for Tuesday’s Osky special. All four corners must be Hoosier Tires with the right rear open to sizes of Hoosier Medium, H15, H20, HR15, Hard or Racesaver.

The standard WAR Sprints weight rule remains 1,450 lbs. with the car and driver at the conclusion of the main event. No cockpit adjustables are allowed and Knoxville mufflers are required for this race. Along with that, king pin tethers are now mandatory effective July 5.

Racing alongside the Lucas Oil ASCS Sprint Cars, this is one extravaganza that you don’t want to miss. You can call the office at (515) 957-0020 from 10:00am to 4:00pm and order your tickets today. Adult general admission is $25 with kids 12 & under at $15.
