PROBST WINS POWRI D-II MIDGET SEASON OPENER

SYCAMORE, IL (May 5, 2018) - May 5 was the return of the POWRi D2 Series to Sycamore Speedway for the Horizon Carpentry spring opener. Ryan Probst of New Lenox IL in the family owned 99 Lucas Oil sponsored midget won the twenty lap feature after a hard fought battle with Jack Rouston and Tyler Baron. Probst and Rouston ran side by side till mechanical problems caused Rouston to fall out of the lead pack late in the race. The mid pack battle between Jason Allen 28,Sean Murphey 5 and Craig Dori 28 resulted in a photo finish for 4th.
