About Tanner

I am 23 years old and entering my first season in the POWRi National Midget. I have been racing in local dirt track racing since I was 12 years old. I originally started racing go-karts at the age of 5 all the way to 12 years old when I made the move to big cars. I decided to switch and try midget racing to get back into open wheel racing, and hopefully create more opportunities for myself. racing open wheel has been a life long dream of mine, and we’re finally making that a reality.

Racing has been a part of my family for three generations, and I’m a second generation driver. Throughout my 18 years of racing, I was able to find some success along the way. from winning the first points championship at the age of 6, in our second season, to 7 national championships, and several top 5 and 10 finishes with 1 career feature win in modifieds/Late models we have achieved some great results along the way. Finding Success is something that we are capable of, and with the previous success gives us great momentum going in to a new division.

Outside of racing I am a commercial engine technician for altorfer caterpillar in the power systems department. I also am a legionnaire for 1st Phorm, one of the largest growing supplement companies in the fitness industry, helping people learn the fitness lifestyle and work towards achieving their fitness goals. With all that being said, I am very focused on my physical conditioning as well as racing. I follow a very specific training regiment 5-6 days a week to make sure I can perform at the highest level possible.
