POWRI LUCAS OIL WAR SPRINTS SEASON OPENER

Indianapolis, IN – Saturday, April 8th the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint Cars will make their long-awaited season debut at Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, Missouri.

The season opener will include talented non-wing drivers from throughout the Midwest such as Chris Parkinson, TJ Muths, Korey Weyant, Wyatt Burks, Danny Thoman, Ryan Kitchen, Terry Babb, Warren Johnson, and many others. Clinton Boyles, the defending WAR Champion, will try to grab his first WAR win at Valley Speedway. The POWRi WAR Sprints have not competed at Valley Speedway since 2015.

Pit Gates Open: 4 PM
Pill Draw: 4:30 PM
Drivers Meeting: 6 PM
Hot Laps: 6:30 PM

Reminder to all WAR competitors: Tethers are mandatory in 2017 at WAR events. They are highly recommended at WAR East events and will be mandatory in 2018 for both WAR & WAR East. The POWRi WAR trailer will have a limited amount of various sizes available throughout the season for sale or rent. Teams are encouraged to contact League Director, Casey Shuman, to order in advance and receive the POWRi discount offered exclusively to WAR. Teams without tethers installed will not be allowed to compete with WAR.

2017 POWRi WAR Online Registration is still open at POWRi.com for teams to utilize in order to speed up the registration process come Saturday at Valley Speedway.

The official POWRi WAR Rules & Race Procedure has been posted under the “RULES AND DRIVER INFO” tab at POWRi.com. All competitors are encouraged to review the document as some revisions have been made.
