Belleville, IL. (7/2/23) Challenging through the seventh feature event of the season in the POWRi Jackson Compaction Vado 305 Wing Sprints, Wes Wofford would clinch the checkers over a determined field of high-caliber racers to notch his thirteenth career series win.
Early on-track competitions would find Wes Wofford and Mike Archuleta each earn heat race victories as after an intermission redraw shuffle would find both heat winners bringing the field to green as the first row.
Speeding from the second-starting spot, Wes Wofford would route the field to gain his second series win in 2023 within the POWRi Vado 305 Sprints as fifth-starting Lorne Wofford finished runner-up with fourteenth-starting Justin Lasiter hard-charging his way to complete the podium placements.
Flying through the field to contend with the lead pack from starting thirteenth would find Derek DeMartino finish fourth with pole-starting Mike Archuleta rounding out the top-five finishers at Vado Speedway Park with the POWRi Jackson Compaction Vado 305 Wing Sprints.
