Belleville, IL (3/24/25) Performance Open Wheel Racing, Inc. (POWRi) has announced an update to the 2025 league racing schedules, removing events previously scheduled at I-70 Speedway due to unforeseen facility circumstances.
Despite close collaboration between POWRi and I-70 Speedway officials to find a solution, current circumstances prevent the venue from hosting scheduled league events this season. This decision was made in the best interest of competitors, teams, and fans to ensure a safe and high-quality racing experience.
“We appreciate the support of I-70 Speedway and their efforts to accommodate our leagues,” said Talin Turner of POWRi. “While it’s unfortunate that we won’t be racing there this year, we remain optimistic about the future and look forward to potential opportunities ahead.”
POWRi is actively exploring alternative venues to fill the scheduled dates and will provide updates as they become available. Fans and teams are encouraged to stay tuned to POWRi’s official website and social media channels for the latest updates.
