About Donnie
Donnie was born in St. Charles, Missouri, in 1991 and was raised an hour south of St. Louis in Potosi, Missouri. He grew up playing sports in school (football, baseball, cross-country, and track), but his true passion has always been dirt track racing. He began his racing career in 2007 with his first start in a micro sprint. He got to race for two seasons, but unfortunately, for reasons beyond his control, he was forced to step away from racing. Upon graduating from high school, he enlisted in the United States Army, where he still serves on active duty at Fort Riley, KS, 15 years later. Eventually, Donnie found himself stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado, near a dirt track that just so happened to host Micro Sprint races. It was there that he met Cory, a seasoned racer who would become both a mentor and a friend. Cory's guidance reignited Donnie's racing spirit, and within a year, he was back behind the wheel, doing what he loved most. Since starting his own race team in 2022, Donnie has raced throughout the Midwest, earning his first career feature win in 2023 at Airport Raceway. Donnie has many goals, including a long racing career, numerous feature wins, and series championships.
