A former Modified standout turned Sprint Car driver, Short is one of the best young hotshoes in Indiana racing right now. He competed fulltime in USAC for the first time in 2006, landing 10th in points and earning a victory at Bloomington Speedway in Indiana, where he honed his skills in the Modified previously.
