About Alex
A graduate of the English Creek Outlaw Karts, Alex impressed in his rookie 2021 season at Knoxville. He racked up three top five finishes and earned Rookie of the Year honors in the Pro Sprints class, finishing eighth in the final point race.
In 2022, he built on that success, by moving up to the 360 class and earning a top ten standing in points. In 2023, Alex joined Team DGRD, and returned to his own team in 2024. In 2025, he had podium finishes with both the Sprint Invaders and the Malvern Bank 360 Sprints.
Alex is the grandson of former Knoxville regular and Knoxville Raceway Hall of Famer Mike Proffitt.
