About Zach
I'm 305 Ohio sprint car driver Zach Kramer. I am 35 years old from Fremont Ohio, currently residing in Helena Ohio. I am a 3rd generation driver: my grandfather Kenny Clark Sr and uncles Bobby Clark and Kenny Clark Jr are all members of the Fremont Speedway HoF. My wife Ashley and I got married in 2023. Ashley comes from a huge racing family as well, being the niece of NSCHoF driver Chad Kemenah, and Fremont Speedway HoF crew chief Brian Kemenah and brother AJ Havens is a well-known wrench. Coming from big racing families brings awesome stories at the holiday's. Together my wife and I have 3 kids Brooklyn, Ryder, Rylet.
I started racing go karts around 8 years old. And eventually moved up to dirt trucks when I was old enough. My first year in trucks I earned the rookie title. Then eventually moved up to 305 sprint cars around 2007 or 2008. My first year in 305's I earned the rookie title again. Had a lot of great finishes and some not so great nights as well. My favorite win would be winning the 305/360 challenge at Fremont. Second favorite night would be finishing 2nd to my uncle Bobby at Eldora.
Around 2012/2013 I was in and out of the racecar due to lifestyle choices. I unfortunately struggled with drug addiction pretty hardcore. And eventually my drug use led me into making an unfortunate and unforgettable mistake, causing a horrible accident. I spent 6 years away. I honestly never thought I'd be given a second chance to do what I love and race again. But I was given the opportunity to come back to racing in starting in a truck in 2023, and in the 2023 off season I was given the opportunity to go back to 305 sprint racing in 2024. Was a solid year and I'm grateful for being welcomed back.
Now it's 2025 and I'm back again! Scheduled to race Attica and Fremont weekly, AFCS full time and couple races at Wayne Co. Might even do a couple non-wing races this season. Thankful for my family, my crew, my sponsors and my fans!
