Brief History
Gunnar ran his first race in a car borrowed from Fred McCarter. He liked the thrill of it, but wasn't totally sure if he wanted to race on a regular basis. In 2018, Gunnar's dad Jason bought him his first car, and he embarked on his rookie season.
In just his third start, Gunnar won the feature, and after that he was hooked. He went on to win a total of 14 feature events in his rookie season.
