Belleville, IL. (9/12/2021) Hitting the smooth racing surfaces of picturesque Vado Speedway Park, the Lucas Oil POWRi Vado Super Sprints flock to the pit area with twenty-one competitors all vying for feature victory. After twenty-five grueling wing-to-wing action-packed laps, Lorne Wofford would earn his third series win of the season.
Early on track racing battles at Vado Speedway Park with the Lucas Oil POWRi Vado Super Sprints would find Lorne Wofford, Royal Jones, and Mike Archuletta all claim heat race wins with Roby Knight and Charlie Graham earning front-row starting spots for the feature event.
Going green-flag feature racing would find Lorne Wofford hard-charging his way to the front from a seventh-starting position to gain the lead around the mid-way point. Lorne would not go unchallenged though as Rick Ziehl would be in hot pursuit for the entire feature from starting sixth with Vance Wofford right behind Ziehl from starting ninth.
Lorne Wofford would hold off all challenges to earn his twelfth feature win over the past four seasons within the POWRi Vado Super Sprint competition with Ziehl finishing in a close runner-up spot. Vance Wofford and Royal Jones would have a spirited battle for third and fourth with Vance gaining third leaving Royal to finish fourth as Charlie Graham rounded out the top-five finishers for the Lucas Oil POWRi Vado 305 Super Sprints at Vado Speedway Park.

The Lucas Oil POWRi Vado Speedway Park 305 Super Sprints will be back in action at Vado Speedway Park on Saturday, September 18th at 7:30 PM for September Sizzler Kid’s Night at the Races where over 100 bicycles and helmets will be given away to kids during Intermission. Classes scheduled to compete include the POWRi Vado 305 Super Sprints, Late Models. USRA B-Mods, USRA Stock Cars, and Super Trucks. Pits open at 4 PM with racing slated for a 7:30 PM starting time.
