Wes Wofford Wins 7-for-7 in POWRi Vado Super Sprint Feature Event

Belleville, IL. (8/30/2021) Returning racing action after over a three-week break, the Lucas Oil POWRi Vado 305 Super Sprints would attack the picturesque racing surfaces of Vado Speedway Park and chosen to compete in the Jackson Compaction 7-for-7 campaign with an extra $700 on the line if the driver that started seventh finished first. With elbows-up driving and quick lap times, seventh-starting Wes Wofford would step up to the challenge earning his first series win of the season.

Early battles on track would find Dylan Harris and Lorne Wofford pick up heat racing victories as a redraw would set Justin Lasiter and Harris on the front row for the twenty-five-lap main event.

Launching from an inside-fourth row starting spot, an extra-motivated Wes Wofford would wheel his way past sixth other competitors to take the lead in less than five laps earning his eighth series win.

With Wofford setting sail out front, a pair of heavy hitters would do battle behind the leader between Royals Jones and Justin Lasiter with Jones earning runner-up and early race leading Lasiter settling for third. Crossing the line fourth would find CJ Hulsey followed by Jesse Baker, who started in the fifth row together, rounding out the top-five finishers for the Lucas Oil POWRi Vado 305 Super Sprints.
