David Bezio Earns Victory Lane Honors at Barona Speedway with POWRi SWLS

Belleville, IL. (8/11/2021) Back at the familiar home-racing surfaces of Barona Speedway for the first time in over a two-month break, the Lucas Oil POWRi Southwest Lightning Sprints would tackle the speedy venue without hesitation as David Benzo would find the fastest route in claiming his second series win in the previous two seasons.

Racing hard early would witness Grant Sexton and Parker Dumas each claim heat racing victories as Brent Horn and Ryan Dumas would make up the front row for the feature event at Barona Speedway for the POWRi SWLS.

Going green flag feature racing would witness the Sexton-Gatlin racing teammates of David Bezio and Grant Sexton fly wing-to-wing for nearly the duration of the feature as Bezio was able to hold the preferred line and racing lead. Hard-charger Braden Chiaramonte would race past nine other competitors to grab the runner-up finishing position as Grant Sexton would place third.

Ryan Dumas and Parker Dumas would find themselves in quite the heated battle inside the top-five as Ryan was able to edge out Parker for the fourth position, leaving Parker Dumas to round out the top-five finishers at Barona Speedway for the Lucas Oil POWRi Southwest Lightning Sprints.
