Belleville, IL. (08/01/2021) The Lucas Oil POWRi National and West Midget Leagues join forces and prepare for arguably one of the fastest and historic tracks on the schedule. The two-day race weekend at Federated Auto Parts Raceway at I-55 is scheduled for this coming Friday and Saturday, August 6th & 7th. Alongside both POWRi Series will be the World of Outlaws Sprint Cars Series for both nights.
POWRi Midgets have been on the schedule alongside the World of Outlaws for six years in a row now at the Ironman 55. Previous to running six consecutive years with the World of Outlaws, the POWRi National Midgets visited I-55 from 2006-2008.
The most recent winner to prevail at the historic track back in 2020, was none other than Spencer Bayston. Bayton won the first night at the 2020 Iron man 55 behind the wheel of the 19AZ, owned by Reinbold/Underwood Motorsports. Come on out to watch two great night of racing back-to-back.
