Belleville, IL. (07/24/2021) Running support for Night One of the All-Star Circuit of Champions visit at Lake Ozark Speedway, the Lucas Oil POWRi RaceSaver Super Sprints would compete with extra money on the line throughout the field giving drivers more incentive. After a caution-free feature witnessing side-by-side battle upfront, Kenny Potter would perfect a high-side run to take the checkers.
Early on-track battles would find Randy Martin and Kenny Potter each notching heat race victories and earning front-row starting spots for the fifteen-lap feature event. Special Thanks to Clenin Farm Supplies, in California Missouri, for adding bonuses throughout the finishing field.
Going green at Lake Ozark Speedway with the Lucas Oil POWRi RaceSaver Super Sprint feature would find a two-car battle up-front for the prized position as pole-sitter Randy Martin and front-row counterpart Kenny Potter would shoot out to clash for the lead.
Potter would lead every lap of the feature to win a highly contested battle even when the backmarkers of lap traffic came into play, with Martin staying close and challenging often. Martin would finish a close runner-up with Mike Trent racing to a podium finish. J. Kinder and Dean Hathman would battle nearly every lap for the position as Kinder grabbed fourth to leave Hathman to round out the top five.
