Johnny Boos Remains Perfect in POWRi Rocky Mountain Lightning Sprint Wins

Belleville, IL. (06/21/2021) Driving into Honor Speedway for the Lucas Oil POWRi Rocky Mountain Lightning Sprints sixth series event in 2021, a trend has started to develop as Johnny Boos continues to ride the wave of winning momentum. Extending his winning streak to six straight, Boos remains unbeaten in RMLS competition while notching the twentieth feature victory over the past three seasons.

Early exciting racing action at Honor Speedway in Pueblo Colorado with the Lucas Oil POWRi Rocky Mountain Lightning Sprints would witness Dakota Dillon and Johnny Boos both grab their heat racing wins and earning a front-row starting spot for the feature event.

With Dillon on pole and Boos outside row-one, the initial green-flag start was intense with everyone vying for the early leading lines, Johnny Boos would not be denied by utilizing a fast-paced middle-groove to launch to the lead. A speedy Dillon would keep pace early, ultimately succumbing to mechanical issues.

Leading the field, Johnny Boos would set sail as third starting Blair Cooper would attempt to run-down to front-runner with Mike McMillen close behind. Laps continued to wind down with Boos taking his series-leading sixth feature victory of the season. Cooper would place in the runner-up positioning with McMillen placing third. Hard-Charging Brady Balderson would race from tenth to finish fourth as Ryan Rader rounded out the top-five at Honor Speedway for the Lucas Oil POWRi Rocky Mountain Lightning Sprints.
