Brownstown, IL. (06/20/2021) Ashton Torgerson earned his trip to victory lane and pulled of his first career Lucas Oil POWRi 600cc Micro Sprint League Presented by Engler Machine & Tool on the final night of the Illinois POWRi SPEEDweek. The fifth and final night was hosted at none other than Fayette County Speedway in Brownstown, IL.
Torgerson showed up last minute and had been dominate all night in the No. 02. To start the 15-lap main event, Torgerson lined up on the pole with Cody Key to his outside. Torgerson jumped off to an early lead and never looked back. Aaron Andruskevitch followed closely behind in the second position while Bradley Fezard and Cody Key traded slide jobs or third.
The field tackled the tough and fast Fayette County Speedway and Aaron Andruskevitch came out on top to capture yet again, another Illinois POWRi SPEEDweek. Andruskevitch earned himself two wins, and a couple of podiums to come out on top.
