Belleville, IL. (06/13/2021) Competing in the fifth event of the season, the Lucas Oil POWRi Rocky Mountain Lightning would venture to El Paso County Raceway with great racing action all over the well-prepared racing surface. Edge-of-the-seat heat racing action would witness Johnny Boos, BJ Sauer, and Joel Mellon all claim the early advantage with Gale Ingram and Sauer earning the front-row feature starting positions.

Green-flag racing action with the Lucas Oil Rocky Mountain Lightning Sprints at El Paso County Raceway would find Ingram taking the early advantage, leading the first pair of laps. Using outstanding turns one and two maneuver, Johnny Boos would shoot to inside and take the lead on lap three to check out on the field and never give up the top spot.

Battles would ensue behind the leading Boos as BJ Sauer drove to finish a solid second with Joel Mellon racing into the third finishing position.
