Stanley Kreisel Returns to Victory Lane with POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprints

Belleville, IL. (06/05/2021) Racing wing-to-wing at the premier home facility of I-35 Speedway the Lucas Oil POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprint competitors would put on a driving spectacle on Saturday, June 5th as defending series champion Stanley Kreisel would find victory lane for the first time this young season.

Heat racing action would find Tony Layne and Chasity Younger both grab the early wins as Kenny Bowers and Younger would make up the front row leading the field to the initial feature start as Bowers was able to gain the early advantage.

With feature racing action intense as the Lucas Oil POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprints would battle for every position on the speedy three-eighths-mile early pace-setter Kenny Bowers would find the track near-perfect as he attempted to drive away from the field with an early lead. With Bowers out front, Tony Layne running closely behind, and Stanley Kreisel charging from a ninth starting spot to contending for the front the laps would start to tick away.

One slip on the corner exit by Bowers would be all the opening Kreisel would need to prove why he is the defending champion by using precision and patience to get around the extremely fast Bowers. Stanely Kreisel would hold the lead and pick up his tenth career POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprint feature victory with Tony Layne finishing second. Paden Moreland would edge Kenny Bowers for third and fourth, as Trite Rowden rounded out the feature top-five at I-35 Speedway.
