Belleville, IL. (05/24/2021) Foiled by the cancelation of two-straight racing weekends after an I-35 Speedway postponement over the previous weekend, the Lucas Oil POWRi Midwest Lightning Sprints will now prepare for series hosting duties of the POWRi Lightning Sprint Nationals on May 29-30 at Central Missouri Speedway in Warrensburg, Missouri.
Prior to Saturday and Sunday racing programs on Memorial Day weekend, Brandon Walls and Central Missouri Speedway have decided to host an evening practice session at the track from 6-9 PM on Friday, May 28th. All pit passes are $20 for this event and there will be no concessions available. The practice session is open to all dirt oval car classes. Pit gates will open at 5 p.m. for this event, in which live timing will be available for drivers to track their lap times throughout the practice sessions. The track will be prepped and in race-ready condition. Drivers, please bring your RaceCeivers, you will be issued a Transponder for the night at no cost. Grandstands are free for spectators. Minor release forms are mandatory for all minors under 18 in the pits.
POWRi Lightning Sprint Officials and Central Missouri Speedway Management are excited about this outstanding event and greatly encourage competitors and crews to read all guidelines and general information regarding the program.
