Belleville, IL. (04/26/2021) After more than thirty-year absence, Sprint Cars return to Odessa Missouri in the form of the new and state-of-the-art I-70 Motorsports Park as the World of Outlaw NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars and the Lucas Oil POWRi Wingless Auto Racing Sprint League roar into town for a weekend doubleheader on Friday, April 30th and Saturday, May 1st.
Running as a support class at the Grand Opening of I-70 Motorsports Park, the Lucas Oil POWRi WAR Sprint League has been limited to a twenty-four-competitor field.
Current Top Twenty-Four Drivers in POWRi WAR Points that will be invited to the I-70 Motorsports Park include Wesley Smith, Mario Clouser, Xavier Doney (R), Anthony Nicholson, Riley Kreisel, Joe B. Miller, Kory Schudy, Mitchell Moore, Wyatt Burks, Jack Wagner, Samuel Wagner, Zach Daum, Colten Cottle, Brad Wyatt, Wyatt Siegel (R), Zach Clark, JD Black, Brian Beebe, Kyle Lewis, Zac Taylor, Steve Thomas, Christie Thomason, Tom Curran, and Lane Stone.
Any drivers that qualify but do not wish to compete in the I-70 Motorsports Park Invitational with the Lucas Oil POWRi Wingless Auto Racing Sprint League are asked to contact POWRi officials. In the event of any drivers not accepting the invitation, then POWRi will continue down the current 2021-point standings until all twenty-four entries are complete.
