Belleville, IL. (04/19/2021) After more than thirty-year absence, Sprint Cars return to Odessa Missouri in the form of the new and state-of-the-art I-70 Motorsports Park as the World of Outlaw NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars and the Lucas Oil POWRi Wingless Auto Racing Sprint League roar into town for a weekend doubleheader on Friday, April 30th and Saturday, May 1st.
Running as a support class at the Grand Opening of I-70 Motorsports Park, the Lucas Oil POWRi WAR Sprint League has been limited to a twenty-four-competitor field. With the season in full swing, the points over the next two events will be even more influential as the Top-24 drivers in POWRi WAR points heading into the event will receive the invitation. If any drivers are unable to accept the racing invitation for April 30-May 1, POWRi Officials will continue down the most current points standings lists until the twenty-four entry spots are filled.
With so much on the line, the Lucas Oil POWRi Wingless Auto Racing Sprint League competition will be as tight as ever with every point-position gained is even more pressing. Up next for POWRi WAR will be racing action at Valley Speedway in Grain Valley Missouri on Friday, April 23rd with the Mid-MO State Midget Nationals followed by a trip to Lucas Oil Speedway’s Open Wheel Showdown on Saturday, April 24th in Wheatland Missouri.
