Belleville, IL. (04/12/2021) The POWRi Lucas Oil Midwest Lightning Sprints will now see their 2021 racing campaign kick-off at the familiar home facility of I-35 Speedway in Winston, Missouri with an action-packed Saturday, April 17th night of on-track excitement.
After suffering a weather postponement of the original season send-off that was slated for a two-day stay at Sweet Spring Motorsports Complex on April 9-10, the POWRi MLS will now venture to the fast three-eighths-mile oval of I-35 Speedway for their opening event in 2021. Moving into the third full season of outstanding POWRi sanctioning competition, the Midwest Lightning Sprints have continued to grow year in and year out while competition remains close every event.
