Belleville, IL. (09/16/2020) Persistently trying to give competitors a place to race with the unprecedented season schedule adjustments of 2020, the POWRi Lucas Oil West Midget League has altered the upcoming weekend racing plans for September 25th-26th.
Tulsa Raceway Park, in Tulsa Oklahoma, originally slotted for Friday, September 25th has been removed from the schedule. Replacing this event to continue the multi-day weekend for the POWRi Lucas Oil West Midget League will now be Creek County Speedway near Kellyville, OK.
Continually bringing exciting racing to the forefront, Terry Mattox Promotions has stepped up to offer competitors an opportunity to shine on Friday, September 25th at Creek County Speedway. Classes scheduled for the competition include the POWRi Lucas Oil West Midget League, Champ / 305 Wing Sprints, Dwarf-Cars, and Junior Mini-Stocks. Pit Gates will open at 4 PM, with general admission available at 5 PM.
Creek County Speedway Hot Laps being at 6:15 as great racing action will follow. Pit-Passes are $35, Adults for $15, kids ages eleven to four for only $5, while children four and under get in free.
Then, on Saturday, September 26th the POWRi Lucas Oil West Midget League heads back to I-44 Riverside Speedway for the final night of racing at this wonderful facility in 2020. Action-Packed and elbows up racing will see the POWRi Lucas Oil West Midget League, POWRi Junior Sprint Micros, POWRi Restricted Micros, POWRi A-Class Winged Micros, POWRi Non-Wing Micros. POWRi Mod's Southwest, and Turf Tire Micros.
I-44 Riverside Speedway’s pits will open at 3 PM for competitors with Grandstands opening for general admission at 5 PM. Driver’s Registration from 4-6 PM with Hot-Laps beginning at 6:30 PM and side-by-side racing to follow. Ticket prices are $30 for pit passes, $15 for Adults, Seniors/Veterans for $12, students get a discounted price of $10 with current Student-ID, children ages 6-12 for only $8, while kids below the age of five get in free.
