POWRi Minn-Kota Lightning Sprints Prepare for Two-Days of Battling

Belleville, IL. (07/14/2020) The POWRi Lucas Oil Minn-Kota Lightning Sprint Series will be back in action for more epic side-by-side battles for the front. With a two-day, two-venue, premier event, seeing racing action for the first time in the land of ten-thousand lakes after many season schedule adjustments.

First up on Thursday, July 16th the POWRi MKLS will head to Norman County Raceway in Ada, Minnesota as drivers test their abilities on the fast three-eighths-mile oval. Pits open at 3:30 PM with driver’s registration scheduled from 4-6 PM. Hot Laps will start at 6:30 PM with great racing action to follow.

Classes slated for competition include WISSOTA Modifieds, POWRi Lucas Oil Minn-Kota Lightning Sprints, Hornets, Titan Machinery IMCA Sport-Mods, Christian Brothers Ford IMCA Hobby Stocks, and Seedex INEX Legends. Then, the POWRi Lucas Oil Minn-Kota Lightning Sprint Series will head to Greenbush Race Park on Saturday, July 18th. The three-eighths-mile oval in Greenbush, Minnesota will host the lightning sprinters as drivers from all over try embarking on their own “Saturday Night Rumble at the Bush”. Pit-Gates are set to open at 3:00 PM with Hot-Laps planned for 6:30, racing to follow.
