Belleville, IL. (06/09/2020) With the announcement of dirt track racing resuming in Illinois, POWRi and Southern Illinois Raceway are eager to get the 2020 season underway with a full micro show with the “Performance Electronics Prelude to the High-Banks Hustle”.
Offering $1000 to the winner and $100 to start for the POWRi Engler Machine and Tool Outlaw 600cc Micro Sprint League will have their own standalone show with drivers from all over the country flocking to the picturesque Southern Illinois Raceway. Over seventy competitors would enter into the event last season setting the stage for one of the biggest Micro events in the nation.
Pits will open at noon as drivers registration will be held from 3-5:30pm with Drivers Meeting at 5:45. Hot Laps begin at 6 pm with racing action to follow. POWRi officials encourage drivers and teams to ease the strain of pre-entry congestion by utilizing the online features for the POWRi Membership forms available at www.powri.com under the membership tab.
