Belleville, IL (December 28, 2019) With great car counts and outstanding racing in 2019 the Iowa Sprint Car League aims to continue successes in 2020, now flying under the POWRi Lucas Oil Banner. Working side by side with the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint Car League in 2020, including 9 stops throughout Iowa as well as a pair of tracks to compete on in Missouri.
Getting the season underway on Friday April, 24th in Donnellson Iowa at Lee County Speedway, the POWRi Lucas Oil Iowa Sprint Car League will then head south of the Iowa line for a trio of race-days. First at US-36 Raceway in Osborn Missouri on Friday May, 15th, then again at US-36 Raceway on Friday, June 5th; followed by a visit the very next night Saturday, June 6th at Bethany Speedway in Bethany Missouri.
Back into Iowa on Friday, June 19th with a first time showing at Crawford County Raceway in Denison Iowa as well as the following night Saturday, June 20th with an inaugural running at Adams County Speedway in Corning Iowa. Then, on Friday, July 3rd the League then head east for fast racing action at 34 Raceway in West Burlington Iowa.
Up next for the POWRi Lucas Oil Iowa Sprint Car League finds perhaps one of the biggest events of the summer with The Corn Belt Nationals at Knoxville Iowa’s famed Knoxville Raceway the weekend of July 10-11. The season continues the next weekend on Friday, July 17th at Bloomfield Speedway in Bloomfield Iowa.
Joining in “The Ultimate Challenge” at Southern Iowa Speedway in Oskaloosa Iowa on Tuesday, August 11th, then back to the high-banks of US-36 Raceway on Friday, August 21st. The season draws to a conclusion on Sunday, September 27th at Quincy Speedway in Quincy Illinois.
