MILLER MAKES IT 37 POWRi MICRO WINS WITH BELLE-CLAIR ROMP

MILLER MAKES IT 37 POWRi MICRO WINS WITH BELLE-CLAIR ROMP

BELLEVILLE, ILL. (October 13, 2019) – Leading all 20 laps on Sunday night, Joe B. Miller of Millersville, Mo. dominated at Belle-Clair Speedway and earned his 37th career POWRi Engler Machine & Tool Outlaw Micro League victory.

Earning Bell Helmets #HighPointMan honors with a seventh-to-second heat race, Miller slotted his Ellis Race Cars No. 51B on the pole position for the 20-lap Charlene Meents Memorial main event. Driving away in dominant fashion, Miller had checked out before the first caution stopped the field at the halfway mark.

Throughout the second half, Luke Veradi made it closer on Miller as the duo raced vigorously through lap traffic, but Miller was not to be denied on this night. He made masterful work of the backmarkers and quickly found the checkered flag for his 37th career win with the POWRi Micros.

Luke Veradi of Taylorville, Ill. brought his No. 28 home in second-place and Harley Hollan of Broken Arrow, Okla. rounded out the podium in third. Gunner Ramey ran fourth and Kurt Westerfield finished fifth, while Scotty Milan, Jordan Howell, Trevin Littleton, Dusty Young and Sean Robbins closed out the top ten at Belle-Clair.

Luke Veradi (Lightning Wings Heat 1), Harley Hollan (Schure Built Suspensions Heat 2), and Kurt Westerfield (Driven Midwest Heat 3) topped heat race action at Belle-Clair Speedway.

The POWRi Engler Machine & Tool Outlaw Micro League resumes the 2019 calendar this Saturday, October 19 at I-30 Speedway on Little Rock, Arkansas alongside the POWRi Lucas Oil National & West Midgets. If you can’t make it, Speed Shift TV will have LIVE coverage.
