ANDRUSKEVITCH ADDS ANOTHER JACKSONVILLE TRIUMPH

ANDRUSKEVITCH ADDS ANOTHER JACKSONVILLE TRIUMPH

JACKSONVILLE, ILL. (September 6, 2019) – Aaron Andruskevitch of Riverton Ill. picked up his 12th career victory with the POWRi Engler Machine & Tool Outlaw Micro League on Friday night at Jacksonville Speedway.

Starting the 15-lap main event from seventh, Andruskevitch patiently moved forward as a swarm of early cautions hampered the start. By the fifth circuit, the Riverton, Ill. native piloted his No. 21X into command of the lead and never looked back.

Following Andruskevitch to the finish line in the POWRi Engler Machine & Tool Outlaw Micro League main event was Luke Veradi of Taylorville, Ill. in second and Riley Goodno of Knoxville, Iowa in third. Rounding out the top ten at Jacksonville was Jacob Tipton in fourth, Scotty Milan in fifth, Harley Hollan in sixth, Trevin Littleton in seventh, Kurt Westerfield in eighth, Gunner Ramey in ninth and Jordan Howell in tenth.

The chase for the championship took an interesting turn with wildly eventful nights for both contenders, Joe B. Miller and Gunner Ramey. The forecast looked bleak for Ramey after heat race trouble relegated him to a 24th-starting position, but it was Miller who got the worst end come feature time.

An issue with the left front saw Miller’s No. 97X go off on the hook and back to the pit area several laps into the feature. Meanwhile, Ramey rattled off a 24th-to-ninth charge aboard his Driven Midwest No. 14G and assumed the points lead.

Up next for the POWRi Engler Machine & Tool Outlaw Micro League will be a doubleheader at Belle-Clair Speedway in Belleville, Ill. on Friday, September 13 and then Macon Speedway in Macon, Ill. on Saturday, September 14.
