PEARCE NABS THE WIN IN THE POWRi LUCAS OIL WARRIOR SPRINT SERIES

Coby Pearce was unstoppable Saturday night at El Paso County Raceway in Calhan, Colorado, as he dominated the competition winning both his heat race and the feature win. Pearce, who hales from Golden, Colorado started from the pole position and never looked back earning over $500 in cash and merchandise.

The top four finishers were Pearce, Jeff Seesholtz from Fountain, Colorado, Skyler Hughes from Kearny, Arizona and Ryan Riggs from Colorado Springs, Colorado. Best wishes go out to Frank Martinez as he took a nasty tumble in the feature after he climbed a tire entering turn one.

Heat races were won by Brian Hardman also from Golden Colorado and Pearce. Both were awarded merchandise certificates from Hathaway Performance and a bottle of Mystic Mountain Distillery's' finest refreshments.

Skyler Hughes took home the Allstar Performance Hard Charger award with his third place finish.

The Warrior Sprints return to EPCR on August 24th to battle again on the tight quarter mile oval.
