Chad Frewaldt won the POWRi Valley Outlaw Midget Race Friday night July 26th at the Grain Valley Dirt Track. For the veteran racer from Kansas City, KS. It was his first victory of the season and came after Frewaldt spun his midget in the early going.
The Jayhawk State Racer would then go from last to 3rd before relinquishing the spot after a mid race caution. However after a incident featuring point leader AJ Gilbert and runner up in points Pat Schudy after the next restart, Schudy, Heath Murry, and Dustin Gilbert, were all sent to the pits after being black flagged.
Frewaldt was then elevated to first place on the next restart roaring to victory over runner up Anthony Lane, Joe Walker, point leader Gilbert, and Casey Hicks. The POWRi Valley Midgets return to Valley Speedway for race number 7 of the 2019 season on Friday August 9th.
