REES RUNS AWAY WITH FIRST RMLSA WIN AT I-76

FORT MORGAN, COLO. (June 18, 2019) – Brent Rees of Arvada, Colo. became the fourth winner in six POWRi Lucas Oil Rocky Mountain Lightning Sprint Association events this weekend. Driving the Brandon Steele owned R1 powered Triple-X No. 5, Rees topped a 19-car field at I-76 Speedway.

Following Rees to the stripe was Johnny Boos in second, Adam Trimble in third, Jason Woods in fourth and Dakota Dillin in fifth. Rounding out the top ten was Jenn Woods, Josh Flood, Jason Wessling, BJ Sauer and Jacob Hazlett. The three heat races were won by Rees, Sauer and Trimble.

Up next for the POWRi Lucas Oil Rocky Mountain Lightning Sprint Association is an Independence Day weekend doubleheader with a trip to Holyoke on July 4 and another appearance at I-76 on July 5.
