UPDATED RULES AND STAFF ADDITIONS IN STORE FOR WAR SPRINTS IN 2019

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. (March 6, 2019) – With a new season quickly approaching, the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprints now have membership forms available on the POWRi website as well as a slightly updated 2019 rules package which is available for viewing at http://www.powri.com/downloads/get.aspx?i=499183.

"We are constantly looking at ways to improve our league from the financial aspect of our teams to the product we are putting on the track," said WAR League Director Casey Shuman, "That being said, we have made a few tweaks to our weight rule, left rear tire rule, and lineup procedures."

The WAR Sprints are also welcoming some new team members for the 2019 season. Allen and Cassy Staley will join the staff, with Allen taking over the announcing duties and his wife, Cassy, in charge of scoring. Allen and Cassy have previous experience working with the ASCS Warrior Region, and will be a key addition to the WAR family.

Wayne Priddy will assume the role of Race Director for the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint League in 2019. Wayne brings a great deal of knowledge and experience to the position, as someone who has been involved with sprint car racing in numerous capacities over the last 15+ years.

The 2019 POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint League season opener is only three weeks away and fast approaching. The updated rules package will go into effect on Friday, March 29 at US-36 Raceway in Osborn, Missouri and Saturday, March 30 at Eagle Raceway in Eagle, Nebraska.
