Belleville, IL – Billy Hulbert of Channahon, Illinois claimed the inaugural championship for the POWRi Pavement Midget Series. With four victories to his credit, including the season finale at Grundy County Speedway, Hulbert took top honors over Tom Eyman and Taylor Fenske. Fenske of Oswego, Illinois is crowned the production-based engine champion of the POWRi Pavement Midget Series.
Both POWRi and Grundy County Speedway officials are please in the direction that the series is headed and look forward to the 2019 season. The season-ending banquet is set for Saturday, November 17th at Heroes West Sports Grill.
