Andruskevitch’s 10th Career Win Comes at Barlow Memorial

Andruskevitch’s 10th Career Win Comes at Barlow Memorial

Jacksonville, IL – When the checkered flag waived, veteran Aaron Andruskevitch stood in victory lane with the POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micro League at Jacksonville Speedway. Andruskevitch’s victory is the 10th of his career with POWRi.

Starting on the pole, Andruskevitch led all 15 laps on his way to victory. Checking out in the opening laps as the field thinned itself out, Andruskevitch laid down a blistering pace while the rest of the field searched for grooves. After the halfway mark, Joe B. Miller turned up the heat and challenged Harley Hollan for second, taking the position off turn two.

With the laps winding down, Miller didn’t have enough laps left to challenge Andruskevitch for the win. Harley Hollan finished third with Jackson Frisbie taking fourth. Garrett Duff completed the top five. Jordan Howell took sixth with Chase Porter in seventh. Riley Goodno, Gunner Ramey, and Chad Elliott rounded out the top ten.

“My home track here, I love this place,” commented Aaron Andruskevitch. “I’ve been running here for 24-some years or so. Been on a little streak here with the local scene. It’s always good to win with the POWRi guys. These guys are tough to run with. I was wondering where Joe B. was, I knew he was coming, I just didn’t know how much time I had left before it was going to be a battle. I was wanting to run the top tonight, I really don’t like playing carp fish on the bottom, but it’s what won the race. Thanks to my parents, my wife, my son, for everything they help me with.”
