WAR SPRINTS TO INTRODUCE HIGH POINT CHALLENGE PRESENTED BY VALOR RACING!

WAR SPRINTS TO INTRODUCE HIGH POINT CHALLENGE PRESENTED BY VALOR RACING!

INDIANAPOLIS, IN (July 25, 2018) - Offering up a new incentive full of enticement and extra cash for racers, the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprint League has brought to light the High Point Challenge presented by Valor Racing. Beginning at the WAR Wildcard show at Wilmot Raceway on August 4th and carrying through the remainder of the season, the high point man each night will have the opportunity to forgo his right to redraw and fall to the tail of the feature field. Starting with a $1,000 bonus, the pot will increase $100 for every race until a driver is bold and brave enough to complete the task, drive to the win and steal the loot.

Standing at the halfway mark to a loaded 34-race campaign, the second half of the schedule will have plenty to live up to following an incredible and historic 17-race stretch to kick off the year. Introducing the High Point Challenge, WAR will add more excitement, drama and possibilities to each race night with a decision to be made from every high point man.

For the final half of the season, the top point-getter in heat race action (high point man) will be given two choices: either perform the redraw per usual and invert 0, 4 or 6 for the feature, or accept the High Point Challenge and drop to the tail of the lineup. In the case of the challenge being accepted, the feature lineup will include an inversion of 0 with the rest of the field moving up one spot.

Only one stipulation applies to the challenge: the race must include a full feature field of no less than 20 cars. Any event with less than 20 will not feature the High Point Challenge, but the purse will still expand another $100 to the next event.

The official parts supplier of the WAR Sprints League, Valor Racing is the presenting sponsor of the High Point Challenge. A trackside support vendor at WAR races and other select open wheel events, Valor Racing is also expanding in 2018 as they prepare to open a retail location to provide sales and service to the sprint car and midget community in the Kansas City area.
