At the end of another hot summer night at Grundy, Bill Holbert and his Dad were all smiles in victory lane. After the race, the Holberts commented that winning this race was very special due to their close personal relationship to the Carter family. A victory in this feature had been top priority on their bucket lists.
Holbert took the lead early with Kyle O'Gara, in second, trying to run him down but Holbert was much the best and very strong all night.
To date, there have been three different winners in the POWRi Pavement Series making it very exciting to watch!
For the second night in a row, popular female driver, Taylor Fenske, again topped the Production-based Engine, or (PBM), field with a strong run.
