The POWRi Pavement Series returns to action at Grundy County Speedway during NASCAR weekend in the Chicagoland area! POWRi and Grundy County Speedway are proud to announce that on Friday & Saturday, June 29 & 30th our racing events will be will be sponsored by Shorewood Animal Hospital. Shorewood Animal Hospital has been giving excellent care of pets since 1976. Additional purse money has been added to both nights thanks to Shorewood Animal Hospital. The June 30th race will also be the 30 lap Berdette Carter Memorial honoring a great supporter and promoter of open wheel racing for many years at Grundy County Speedway.
Come out and enjoy some great events in the same vicinity as NASCAR racing. Enjoy the 114th annual Grundy County Fair and some great action-packed open wheel racing this holiday weekend. Grundy County Fairgrounds and Speedway is only a half an hour west of Chicagoland Speedway.
