JACKSONVILLE, IL (June 8, 2018) - Joe B. Miller found his way to victory lane twice Friday night at Jacksonville Speedway in Jacksonville, Illinois. Once in his micro, and again with the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Wildcard Sprints.

After earning the LRB Inc. High Point Man honors for his heat race passing points, Miller pulled the 4 for the redraw invert. Landon Simon and Korey Weyant led the 20-car field to green and Weyant would lead the early laps running the top. Miller would work his way up to the second spot and trailed Weyant closely. Miller threw the slide job on Weyant and would clear him to take the lead just before the halfway point of the 25-lap event.

Miller would go on to win his first POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Wildcard event of 2018 over Landon Simon and Slater Helt. Mario Clouser was the Indy Race Parts Hard Charger after passing eleven cars to finish seventh.

The POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Wildcard Sprints are back in action tonight, June 9 at the Tri-State Speedway in Haubstadt, Indiana with the Midwest Sprint Car Series. Then Wildcard heads to Lincoln Speedway in Lincoln, Illinois Friday, June 15.

The POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprints resume racing for a two day weekend up next. Starting Friday, June 22 at Midway Speedway in Lebanon, Missouri followed by Saturday, June 23 at Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Missouri.
