INDIANAPOLIS, IN (April 14, 2018) - After starting eighth, Paul White won Saturday night at Abilene Speedway and goes back to back with the POWRi Lucas Oil Elite Sprints for a strong start to his 2018 racing season. John Ricketts ran second and Tyson Hall rounded out the podium.
Gary Floyd started on the pole of the twenty lap feature and led most of the event, but White would work his way to the lead by utilizing the bottom groove of the racetrack while working through lapped traffic. Justin Melton was the Hard Charger after passing eleven cars to finish sixth.
John Ricketts, Weston Gorham, Kyle Jones, and Tyson Hall were heat race winners.
The POWRi Lucas Oil Elite Sprints are back in action Saturday night, April 21 at Superbowl Speedway in Greenville, Texas.
