INDIANAPOLIS, IN. (January 25, 2018) – The 2017 POWRi Banquet ticket sales have closed to complete the guest list, and the ceremonies will take place this Saturday night, January 27, 2018 at the River City Casino & Hotel in St. Louis, Missouri.
The night of celebration will kick off with a cocktail hour starting at 6:00 PM inside the Event Center which is directly across from the hotel front desk. A plated dinner will be served featuring Field Greens with Garden Vegetables and Choice of Dressing, followed by Roasted Arline Chicken Breast with Natural Jus, Whipped Potatoes, and Chef’s Selection of Vegetables, and a Chocolate Mousse Bombe with Raspberry Coulis for dessert.
The 2017 POWRi Awards Ceremony will follow after dinner is complete. Champions, along with the top ten in POWRi Lucas Oil National Midgets, POWRi Speedway Motors 600cc Outlaw Micros, and POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprints will be honored plus Rookies of the Year.
Notable honorees include POWRi Lucas Oil D-II Midget Champion Tyler VanToll and second place driver Jack Routson. The top five for the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR East Sprints will also be honored.
Guests are welcome to take advantage of the complimentary valet at the hotel entrance or there is a self-parking garage also available. The dress code is business casual.
Any guests staying at the Holiday Inn St. Louis-South County Center who wish to utilize the complimentary shuttle services, please read the following details.
The shuttle schedule will be posted at the front desk of the hotel. A shuttle will leave at 5:30 PM and 5:50 PM from the Holiday Inn to take guests to the River City Casino & Hotel on January 27, 2018 for the POWRi Banquet. For shuttle service back to the Holiday Inn after the banquet ends, call the Holiday Inn at (314) 892-2091 to request a ride. The shuttle service ends at 12:30 AM.
