INDIANAPOLIS, IN. (October 9, 2017) - Cody Dons scored his first POWRi Lucas Oil Mile High Micro League victory Saturday night, October 7 at El Paso County Raceway in Calhan, Colorado. The "High Altitude Showdown" proved to be full of drama as Devon Amos originally took the checkered flag but was later disqualified for illegal use of cockpit adjustable shocks.
Dons assumed the victory over Christian Galicia, Jadyen Friesen, Dylan Riggs, and Tyler James Cangleton rounded out the top five. Dons, Galicia, and Jacob Johnston were heat race winners for the evening.
Christain Galicia wrapped up the 2017 POWRi Lucas Oil Mile High Micro League Championship by 120 points over Tristan Ullstrom (2), Austin Ullstrom( (3), Marsha James (4), Tim Snelling (5), Jared McIntyre (6), Tristan McCray (7), Gage Bowers (8), CJ Wilhite (9), and Chance Ullstrom (10).
