INDIANAPOLIS, In. (October 9, 2017) - 25-year-old Christian Galicia has been named the 2017 POWRi Lucas Oil Mile High Micro League Champion after wrapping up the points battle September 9 at El Paso County Raceway in Calhan, Colorado with a victory in the feature event from his tenth place starting position.
Galicia racked up an impressive 5 wins in the 2017 season plus 7 top 5's and he never finished outside of the top ten with his Factor One/Yamaha R6. He gives all of the credit to his wife, Angel Galicia, and his family that traveled to support him every weekend.
"All the hard work and determination that I put into my first race season really paid off," said Galicia, "I can't wait to see what next season brings for me."
