MCCUTCHEON PICKS UP WAR 305 WINGED VICTORY AT SNM SPEEDWAY

Las Cruces, NM (September 16, 2017) - For the fifth straight time at the Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, New Mexico, Kyle McCutcheon took home the victory in the POWRi Lucas Oil WAR 305 Winged Sprints feature event. Wes Wofford, Lorne Wofford, Don Grable, and Derek Demartino rounded out the top five.

After starting fifth on the grid, the driver from Alamogordo, New Mexico tracked down race-long leader Wes Wofford with five laps to go, and then shot into the lead in heavy lapped traffic en route to his seventh overall win this season.

Wes Wofford held off his father, Lorne Wofford, to claim the runner-up honors and clinch the season-long POWRi Lucas Oil WAR 305 Winged Sprint Car championship.

The POWRi Lucas Oil WAR 305 Winged Sprints are back in action for the final time in 2017 Saturday, September 30 at Southern New Mexico Speedway in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
