Indianapolis, IN - The POWRi Lucas Oil WAR Sprints will be in action this Saturday night, September 16 at Valley Speedway in Grain Valley, Missouri for the sixth and final time of the 2017 season. Just four races remain on the WAR Schedule to decide the Championship Points.
Korey Weyant currently sits in a steady lead for the WAR Championship over Chris Parkinson with a 110 point difference. Wyatt Burks is third. Rookie of the Year contender Quinton Benson sits fourth and Warren Johnson is fifth.
Since the inception of WAR in 2012, there have been ten different drivers in victory lane at Valley Speedway. JD Black has two WAR wins under his belt there while Brady Bacon, JJ Yeley, Josh Stephens, Casey Shuman, Clinton Boyles, Quinton Benson, Korey Weyant, Joe B. Miller, and Wyatt Burks each have one WAR win there.
